I started blogging in January of 2015, just a few months after making the move to Scotland. Originally started to keep family and friends up to date with my life on the farm, I soon found my posts being read by people from across the globe.
So far, I have appeared on the BBC, The Farming Show and in both the Farmers Guardian and Farmers Weekly. When I don’t have the pleasure of a whole host of fantastic journalists telling my tale, I share my own story through regular contributions to Farmland Magazine, Farming Scotland Magazine and the NFU publication Student Farmer.
Through all my writing, social media outlets and media appearances, I aim to show farming in a positive light, inspire any would-be farmers who, just like me, spend their days dreaming of a life spent farming the land and to offer a fresh perspective on the world of agriculture through the eyes of a young, new entrant.
